2007-2010 - I.T. Manager - Systems Administration

Managed business critical systems and staff. Responsible for developing and executing workflow, project planning, execution, and quality oversight

* Working with my team and resources from other teams including the PMO and vendor services: Developed project plans, budgets, communication plans and resource allocations for upgrades of corporate systems: Exchange, Communication Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, Citrix, Internet systems, hardware uplift and operating systems.

* Attained operational stability for 150 applications/services distributed through three service teams.

* Supervised and/or approved average of 1.5 production changes per day (24/7/365) via change management processes.

* Drove a robust application upgrade schedule. Worked closely with all I.T. and business teams. Regardless the pace or load I retained my entire team throughout my tenure.

* Drove resolution of issues and defects with critical business systems to meet business, customers, and affiliate needs.

* Program manager role: Recommended improvements to services by presenting project proposals, remedial architecture or process changes based on the input of senior engineers and hard metrics. Then, prepared and managed budgets, resource allocations, milestones, risks and activities.

* Lead Infrastructure engineering teams in a matrixed environment while engaged in supporting corporate and eCommerce Active Directory Forests that I designed and deployed. Developed procedural and support documentation, set the standard for the services.

* Participated in call center analog to VoIP conversion. Working with network engineers and architects. Assessed the -As Is-, determined performance requirements to meet business requirements, proposed changes to meet said requirements. Managed expectations.

* Program manager role: Created program design to improve telecommuting service.
