Coordinate the Family Child Care program for Armed Forces Americas United States, Baden-Wrttemberg,supervising contract child-care providers authorized to provide services to families of associated U.S. military and civilian personnel. Monitor providers performance and compliance with federal requirements. Process U.S. government subsidies for providers. Collect and compile data and information for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to appropriate authorities through the Child and Youth Management System. Conceptualize and deliver fun activities for children and families. Train and certify providers in an added duty as Training and Curriculum Specialist, preparing them to obtain mandatory Provisional Provider Certificates and Fully Certified Provider Certificates. Help providers retain currency on competencies such as creating portfolios and activity plans for children, formulating individual development plans (IDPs) for children, and developing their own IDPs. Deliver training necessary for providers to achieve National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) and Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and receive additional monthly stipends. Supervise and develop skills of Child and Youth Program Assistants as Child Development Center Assistant Director. Help oversee CDC operations and administration.
Major Contributions: Began delivering child-care supplies to providers homes so they had more time to focus on core responsibilities as private businesses. Library Technician (Temporary Detail) (2010-2011)

Major Contributions: Teamed with the Community Disciplinary Officer to create a program in which military command units partnered with a school or a Child, Youth and School Services program, providing volunteer manpower for projects such as moving equipment or building shelves, accompanying children on short recreational trips, and volunteering to read to children.
