Mission Reach/ San Antonio Channel Improvement Project: San Antonio,TX
Senior Technician:
Responsible for testing and Inspections of materials and procedures of this
project in both the field and lab. This involved more than 1 mile of the
San Antonio River involving new structures and soil observations of the
redirected channel.
Alamo Ranch Shopping Center, San Antonio,TX
Senior Technician:
Responsible for coordinating with other technicians to oversee the testing
and inspections of all phases of an expansive retail center. Project
included many stand alone retail stores and large muilti- unit retail shell
buildings for smaller retailers. Responsible for observation of soil
excavation and fill, rebar inspections, concrete, asphalt, roofing, and
fireproofing procedures. All Testing performed per ASTM standards
I-10/Camp Bullis Expansion, San Antonio, TX
Senior Technician:
This Project included widening of I-10 East and West as well as the
intersection of Camp Bullis and I-10. Responsible for inspection of rebar
and concrete paving inspection on bridge decking and quality control during
placement of Ty-B and Ty-C Level up as well as testing and tracking asphalt
lots during final surface placement. Involved in keeping track of detailed
reports of testing and results. All testing performed per TXDOT
specifications.
Hill Country Bakery, San Antonio, TX
Senior Technician:
Responsible for daily testing operations of new building and renovation of
existing building. Testing performed on concrete, masonry, rebar, and
density. Involved in keeping tracks of detailed reports of testing dates
and results. All testing performed per ASTM standards.
Wal-Mart, Kennedy, TX
Senior Technician:
Lead Technician onsite, responsible for daily operations of new building,
coordinating inspections and testing with contractor's onsite. Testing and
Inspections performed on soil density, soil sampling, concrete, rebar,
masonry, grout, visual weld inspections, and bolt and torque inspections.
Involved in keeping track of detailed reports of testing dates and results.
All testing performed per ASTM and D1.1 AWS standards.
Motiva- Port Arthur Refinery, Port Arthur, TX
QA\QC:
Supervisor onsite, responsible for 20 plus technicians for coordinating and
scheduling testing and inspections, reviewing reports, reporting test
results and inspection's to client and contractor's onsite. Testing and
Inspections involved large concrete placements, grout testing, mortar
testing, soil sampling, density's, compressive strength, concrete piles,
and sheet piles. All testing was performed per ASTM Standards.
National Estuarine Marine Science Lab, Port Aransas,TX
QA\QC:
Lead onsite responsible for daily operations of new building, coordinating
inspections and testing with contractor's onsite. Testing and Inspections
performed on auger cast piles, grout, concrete, rebar, masonry grout and
mortar, Visual weld inspections on steel tubing and beams, NDT and Visual
Inspections on chill water pipes being welded. All testing was performed
per ASTM and D1.1 AWS standards.
Delta Exxon Project, Spring, TX
QA\QC:
Field supervisor onsite responsible for daily operations of new building's
and parking garages. Coordinating daily inspections and testing with
contractors onsite. Testing included soil density, masonry grout,mortar
testing, and concrete testing. Inspection included, reinforced steel
inspections, post- tensioning of PT
cables, and Visual Welding Inspections on Structural Steel. All testing was
performed per ASTM and D1.1 AWS standards.
Shell Deer Park, Deer Park, TX
QA\QC:
Qualifying Welders per Section IX ASME, closure of packets and
transmittals, bolt- ups, visual on all type of welding process. NDE
coordinating, interpretation of x-ray film. Hydrostatic testing, daily
reports and updates on excel spread sheet, weld mapping, piping and
structural codes ASME B31.3, API 510, API 570 AWS D1.1. All inspecting was
performed per AWS, ASME, ASTM, and API standards.
