1. May 2010 till date: Amrit Cement Industries Ltd as Manager Logistics

and Procurement.

Key responsibilities:-

< Supervising the complete Inbound logistics operation and

finalizing transportation contracts.

< Coordinating with various logistics providers to achieve proper

and timely pick-up and delivery of consignments to the required

destination.

< Negotiating with Logistics service providers and transporters to

economize the overall cost of transportation.

< To select proper vehicle as per the weight, dimension and the

type of the material.

< Warehousing, inventory control and vehicle scheduling.

< Placing work order to logistic providers and transporters based

on competitive transport rates and service level provided and

also to determine the terms of payment and the scope of work.

< Supervising the import operation.

< Supervising the complete custom clearance, port and dock

operations and also at the CFS.

< Supervising and planning the complete stuffing and dyestuffing

of shipping line containers and return of empty containers to

shipping line plot to avoid all types of demurrage, detention or

other incidental penalties.

< Finalizing the terms and conditions of coal PO.

< Monitor the movement of coal from supplier railway siding to

that of the plant.

< Monitor the testing and analysis of coal quality as done by a

third party.

< Ensure proper receipt of coal at the plant.

< To supervise the coal stock at plant and plan coal purchase

month wise.
