SUMMARY:

Assist the engineers in the design and development of complex plans and detailed mechanical, electrical drawings for

parts, components and assemblies. Prepare new or modified designs of major components or portions of functional

systems. Check dimensions, write specifications and verify finished work. Have been assigned to perform the checking of

design layouts and detail drawings. Coordinate with other departments to update, modify areas affected by design

developments. Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in

resolving problems and making recommendations. Determine methods and procedures on new assignments which provide

guidance to other personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform computerized graphic duties.

• Check drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards.

• Work with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards.

• Digitize, edit and revise drawings consisting of components, assemblies and entire systems.

• Backup to Document Control to process ECO’s, assign part numbers and update the Manufacturing Resource

Planning system in the absence of Document Control.

• Modify and update Schematic and PCB Layout maintenance of existing designs

• Proficiently modifying SolidWorks designs and maintaining the SolidWorks PDM system with design changes.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

• Know the quality Policy and how activity performances contribute to the achievement of the company quality

objectives.
