KP Quick Start began as a 2005 KPIT Customer Experience Initiative to
improve customer service. (Customers are HR, Recruitment, Hiring Managers
and New Hires). It is designed to be a Single Point of Contact (SPOC),
single point of entry (SPOE) process for on-boarding new hires.
KP Quick Start is also the name of the Single Point of
Entry application for entry of the data to drive the request interface and
workflow management. The interface application then auto generates Remedy
tickets and eliminates manual rework and hand-offs.

STEP is Supplemental Tracking Electronic Processing System. STEP is used to
handle timecard entries for Contractors working for Chrysler, track the
headcount, and manage the lifecycle of a contractor and for generation of

STEP allows the supplemental workers to fill in their timesheet's weekly
followed by a set of approvals from their managers and financial
coordinators. It sends this information to the AP for final approval and
billing and it also provides several reports to track the invoices and
other details about the timecards, details about the workers, approvals and
rejection details about workers entries.
