Professional Profile
With senior experience in graphic design, marketing and advertising, I am qualified to directly contribute to the
success of a company or organization through its marketing efforts. I am confident I can play a key role in plan-
ning and producing professional, results-oriented materials and possess the ability to work within or direct the
internal and external team.
My career began in marketing as an Assistant Graphic Designer and included promotions to Senior Graphic
Designer, Director of Design and Creative Director.
As a Senior Graphic Designer I worked with staff members to execute the various print and electronic compo-
nents of my employer’s brand as it related to the marketing plan. This includes experience working within both
ad agencies and corporate marketing departments.
A professional highlight was being responsible for upholding the brand standards that established our city’s
national and international image. A key component of that image was an Indianapolis branding effort sup-
ported by corporate sponsors. The city brand included establishing a common logo for our community partners,
guidelines for graphic usage and crafted marketing messages. I represented the interests of the Indianapolis
Convention & Visitors Association in this effort. After the implementation of the city brand, I directed and helped
develop the application of brand standards and marketing materials produced to express the Indianapolis
Convention & Visitors Association’s expression of the brand.
Throughout my career I have had the pleasure of consulting with several city and state agencies concerning
their marketing efforts. It has been a pleasure to be a part of our city’s effort to secure a 2012 Super Bowl, Men’s
and Women’s Final Fours, Big Ten Tournaments, FFA Convention, Governor’s Conference and multiple large con-
ventions that filled our cities hotel rooms and restaurants. More recently, I have supplied marketing materials to
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, USA Football and DWA Healthcare Marketing.
In conclusion, I am comfortable creating, designing, directing the production of art and design solutions. I
pride myself in producing high-quality materials that uphold the high standards of my employer and/or client.
Qualifications
As a college graduate and with over 15 years of design and management experience in the field of marketing, I
am qualified to manage an internal team or contribute to my employer’s success by working within an existing
creative marketing team.
My prior positions provided working experience in directing staff and contracted vendors to execute market-
ing channels by creating the necessary creative look and feel needed to communicate to the end user/customer.
Included in my career is a working proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite of Graphic Design programs. This
includes InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver as well as Microsoft Office.
