Time Study and Simulation: Determined the time customers spent at a
“Freestyle” fountain dispenser. Using the data collected, the team ran a
simulation of a single queue in a fast food restaurant with several registers and
an unknown arrival rate to determine if the time spent at the beverage
dispenser would cause delays.
Senior project: Designed a manufacturing plant to produce furniture with an
increasing demand in each succeeding year. The project included the
completion of a business plan based upon actual time studies, SAMs,
amortized loan schedules and forecasted demand. The end result was an ROI
of 30% over a five year period relative to actual and comparable products.
