I was a Picker, I would pull orders and put them in to tote's and place them on the conveyer to get packed in boxes then shipped out in the trucks.

Started May/2005 thru June/2012 left because of Personal reasons. I made $12.12 and hour.

I worked in Shipping and Receiving/Warehouse I started off as a Puller, pulling parts for orders. Then a year later I became a Floor Planner I would take part numbers and look them up in the computer then plan them out to the backorders first if they had any then the next State that needed the part more got it. I would move the parts from the lane and put it in the kitting area to be pulled my me or the pullers then I would also plan out the full pallets and move then to the conveyer and send them up to the racks or the lanes if they where planned out on the trucks. I also got to learn how to fix AGV error, the AGV was a Forklift that drove its self on a guide wire. it would pick orders out of the racks and put them on the conveyer for the pullers to pull order to each state. I also learned how to drive a forklift I started to drive one in 2007. I could clear out the ship lanes and place pallets on the racks and load and unload the Valve truck which was the truck that drove from the main plant to the Valve Plant across town. I also got to do Inventory for a few years to help out the girl that did it all the time that way she can go on Vacation. or If she needed to cover for someone else I would cover for her. the inventory was counting pallets of boxes and pallets of Parts we had in the warehouse and locating lost parts for other people in the building. Plus we worked with QC a lot to add or remove inventory that was scrapped out or on hold til it was approved by California. Etc...
