Summary of Skills:
I have worked exclusively in the Civil, Architectural, Information Technology (IT) and Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) consulting fields for the last 20+ years. During that time I have worked with
several different computer based applications to create an assortment of engineering documents and
graphics (web/print) for use on a wide variety of specialized projects.
I have been the principal analyst on planning projects that have included 2500+ single/multi-family units,
multi-use, and commercial developments in several different municipalities. I have worked on Geographical
Information Systems (GIS) databases and database administration/creation that have included everything
from environmental planning, forestry management, wetland mapping, planning, physical and human
geography, population and health management, epidemiology mapping, planning and disaster recovery.
I have experience creating finished maps using cartographic principles and understanding of map
projections; converting Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) documents into GIS formats; and I have created 3D
models of various structures including minor league baseball stadiums, church facilities, and large
commercial development plans.
In performance of my duties, I have a strong understanding of the following software; Autodesk AutoCAD,
ESRI ArcMap GIS, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE with Oracle and SQL databases, @Last, SketchUp 3D Modeling, Vue
Professional 3D Rendering, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat Professional,
and various Trimble GPS applications. I can also create videos from pre-production to post and DVD
production, using professional grade equipment and software such as Adobe Premier Professional. I have
strong presentation graphics experience and cartographic skills using Adobe Photoshop.
I have extensive knowledge and experience working with remote sensed data, including satellite imagery
and aerial photography from various vendors including Digital Globe and GeoEye. I have worked with
National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) personal to collect imagery and vector content to fill
requirements of several clients. I have defined Areas of Interests (AOI) for Air Force and Army clients with
specific specifications to fill the client’s requirements. I have also interfaced with the Homeland Security
Infrastructure Protection (HISP) Gold program to leverage the data model utilized within the program.
I am a trained survey technician; Air Force trained Work Group Manager (CSA) with CompTIA A+
certification, System Administrator and Equipment Custodian. Experience with Defense Information
Systems Agency (DISA) and the military service branches and how they relate to each other. I have been
directly involved in setting up a distributed edge cached network of data and its components to support end
users in the AFCENT Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Lead and performed work and data collection efforts in demanding temporary duty assignments in Qatar,
United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Germany, Austria, France, England, Netherlands and Greece. I have
traveled to numerous locations within the United States in the performance of my positions as well.
