I have worked successfully in the capacity of middle to upper level management positions, including
t he most recent past positions of Senior Project Manager and Quality Control System
M anager/Director. I was also involved the preparation, planning and execution of a startup satellite
d ivision for an International construction and management company. In all of the position over my
career, the problems, or better define as management growth opportunities, differed on many levels
a lbeit they did have a common link – the requirement to perform with the ability to analyze the
situation, assess the reasonable alternative(s) and execute a plan of action.
I n the capacity of Senior Project Manager, I directed the day-to-day operation and the execution of
each project. Supervise and coordinate all the activities of each project(s). I t was my responsibility to
i nsure that each and all task were executed to the fullest of efficiency, using the self authored
organizational structure, permitting an even f low to the project. I t was my responsibility in preparing,
participation and presentation updates in weekly and bi-weekly meetings, authoring as well as
p resentation of all other construction related reports. Accountable for scheduling and performing
p roject site visits – some unannounced – along with planning and scheduling workshops and eclectic
but limited instructions on business operations. The reports authored consisted of preparing project

w ith client/owner and financial executives, oversight of documentation administration (RFI –
authoring and return communications, change orders, payment approval and submittal, certified
payroll, etc.) in accordance with established company standards and procedures as well as the

As the Quality Control System Manager my responsibilities involved the oversight of the contract

reports as well the updating of the RMS. Preparing, scheduling and participation of weekly meetings
w ith government representatives, local officials and with funding representatives – when required or
necessary.
I have worked in general construction for 40 plus years, with portions of my career in the electrical
f ields (both as a field crew and in middle management), involved in design/build and design/bid/build
t ype of projects in the private and military sectors. I t is my belief that in each segment of the industry
I have enhanced my exposure, my t raining and continued to gain a greater understanding on a deeper
level that the process, coordinating, and execution of the project(s) are dependent on how the (1) the
management team’s core is set-up, (2) how this team interacts with other members associated and non-
associated with a project and (3) how effect the communication is accomplished among team members
as well as with the client. I have learned from these prior experiences that the f low of a construction
p roject will perform in greater detail and the performance expectations will be reached with higher
efficiency level with the project manager and supporting management team all well rounded in their
experience and education. I t is immaterial if the project is a design/build concept, design/bid/build or
tenant improvement production.
I consider myself a well rounded senior manager with the ability to look outside of the situation for
answers to challenges that are associated with construction. I am f lexible when the circumstances
require it. I am a team player that believes management of a site should involve all key personnel, open
communication, the f lexibility to research and execute alternative courses of action when applicable, as
well as understanding when circumstances dictate transferring to the appropriate chain of command.
I am open to t ravel and/or relocation. I would welcome the opportunity to meet you and to further
d iscuss your requirements.
