science and technology, arts and humanities, computer and forestry.

Coordinator, Graduate School J une 2006 -

• Coordinated plan with the Dean in the implementation of programs and policies;

• Assisted the Dean in the preparation of the teachers’ workload, monitored faculty attendance and teaching

performance, enabling efficient f low of the teaching processes and quality instruction;

• Initiated faculty development program resulting to 100% updated course syllabi;

• Conducted seminar workshops/training in the area of Research for faculty members in the graduate school

w hich included thesis and dissertation advising. This qualifies 50% of the faculty members to serve as advisers.

• Participated during oral defense of thesis/dissertation, serving as adviser to 8 doctoral (dissertation) and 24

masteral (thesis) students; served as chairman during deliberation to 12 Ed.D. and 14 Masteral students and

designated as critique to 37 masters’ thesis for 3 years (2010 to 2012), giving directions and recommendations for

t he improvement of the paper. This resulted to paper presentations in the country and more than 3 presentations

i n the international level particularly in Japan, Thailand and I reland;

• Supported the Dean in the procurement of instructional materials and supplies, and monitored the proper

upkeep as well as repair of rooms and other graduate school facilities resulting to a more conducive teaching-

learning environment;

• Exercised leadership in the fields of research and extension which led to 3 to 4 community and extension

services a year.

• Made recommendations to the concerned officials, through and in consultation with the Dean resulting to

i ncrease in faculty rate/hour and additional benefits.

• Advised and supervised the GS Student Council by holding meetings, realizing plans of activities like

acquaintance and Christmas parties, projects like additional 2 LCD projectors and 2 Xerox copiers for the

students;

• Taught courses as assigned by the Dean particularly in the area of Research and basic courses of the different

p rograms;

• Developed an instructional material in Research Methodology using power point presentation that helped

facilitate learning and instruction;

• Revised curriculum for the Master of Arts in Education (Educational Management) in coordination with the

Dean as per suggestions made by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the

Philippines (AACCUP) which resulted to compliance to standards set by Commission on Higher Education

(CHED).

• Served as Area In-charged in curriculum and development in all graduate programs during accreditation

p roceedings with AACCUP which resulted to Level 2 status of the Graduate School.

• Conducted a t racer/follow study of graduate students which included surveys on reasons for the completion and

non-completion of their respective programs. This study resulted to high retention of students after identifying

reasons for non-completion.
