General Manager, Teyseer Trading & Contracting Co. Doha, Qatar, 2006-
Current
Full P&L responsibility for the Building Materials, Chemicals and
Mechanical Services Division of Teyseer. Responsible for all
Administration, Support, Sales and Line Management personnel in the
Division. Annual Sales in excess of QR 140MM. Responsible for all
business development with international principle companies, personnel
and facilities development, business plan, operating and capital budget
development and implementation. Report directly to the Deputy Chairman
of the Teyseer Group of Companies. Achieved OHSAS 18001 certification in
2008 - 2013.
Senior Corporate Technical Advisor, GASCO, Abu Dhabi, UAE 2003-2006
Responsibility for technical advisement to the General manager of
GASCO regarding all new projects, debottlenecking activities and
modifications to the largest gas plant facility in the Middle East (+4
BLSCF/D). Joint Venture development, advisement and member of the Board
Advisory Committee with GASCO, ADNOC, TOTAL, SHELL and PARTEX stake
holder representatives. Total responsibility for Operations, Personnel,
Training, Resources and Financial functions of GASCO Training Center for
new operations staff and incumbent development. Responsibilities
included advisement and preparations for P&L reporting, Budgets,
Recruitment and JV Business development.
General Manager, REDLANDS Industrial Services, A.A. Turki Corporation,
Damman, Saudi Arabia, 2001-2003
Full P&L responsibility for the Waste Management Division, Chemical
Cleaning Division, Blasting and Painting Division and Marine Support
Services Division. Responsible for all Field Support, Technical Sales
and Management personnel in the Divisions. Annual Sales in excess of
100MM. Responsible for all business development with international
principle companies, personnel and facilities development, business plans
coordination with senior corporate management, operating and capital
budget development and implementation. Report directly to the Chairman
of A.A. Turki Corporation.
Operations Projects Director, Latin America, Parsons Energy and Chemicals
Group Inc., 1998 to 1999. Held operational oversight of all oil and gas
process, refining, chemical and power projects in Latin America and
Mexico. Represented this engineering and construction company, with
revenues exceeding $100 million, in their joint venture partnerships and
strategic alliances. Held P&L responsibility and supervised a senior
management staff over operations, procurement and project scheduling.
Business Development Advisor / Business Co-ordination Advisor, Abu Dhabi
National Oil Company, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 1991 to 1998.
Corporate Planning Advisor for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and
the ADNOC Group of ten oil, gas, gas liquids and petrochemical product
companies. Areas of expertise included strategic planning, financial
management and evaluation of new projects and studies. Served as a
Technical Advisor for major procurement requirements for capital
projects, operations and maintenance.
Deputy Sector Manager / Plant Manager, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, 1986
to 1990. P&L responsibility over gas processing and transmission
facilities with total operation management responsibilities including
maintenance, capital projects, contract administration and product
processing, transmission and delivery. Developed and administered
personnel process, safety and environmental programs resulting in award
of the British Safety Council's "Award for Excellence".
Production Supervisor, Sirte Oil Company, Marsa Brega, Libya, 1983 to 1986.
Operation Management for remote desert gas and gas liquids processing,
compression and transmission facilities including operations, P&L
accountability and contracts administration. Trained and developed a
multi-national work force including safety and environmental staffing.
Academic Qualifications
Awarded a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) from Oklahoma
State University in 1977. Participated in company-sponsored seminars and
workshops throughout professional career including Advanced Negotiations,
Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Time Management, Advanced Ethics
Applications and Advanced Management Techniques and Project Financial
Evaluation Implementation Strategies.
