Production Office Manager October 2012 to Present
Master Production Scheduler- After I have received an approved drawing and BOM
from the CAD department, I use the calculations of cumulative and delivery lead time to
determine if the estimated date of delivery is achievable. I continue to monitor and alter
this date according to the arrival of raw material and schedule conflict.
Product Activity Control- According to the date of delivery and the required lead time for
production and shipping, I create a PRD and release a job for production. When the
PRD is completed, I then consume the material. When all the PRD’s for the job are
consumed, I print a pick list for quality to determine if all the material is present. I also
create manual PRD’s for make-to-order and make-to-stock subassemblies. I then
consume these once they are completed.
Material Requirement Planning- We use a JIT system for most of our raw material, so
MRP does not create a PO until a job is put into plan. After I put a job into plan and
MRP is ran, I then review all PO’s before sending them to our vendors. I then
communicate with our vendors to get quotes and lead times for the material. Using the
CRM, I maintain current vendor relations. Before creating a PRD, I use the BOM to
check all SKU’s related to the job to assure we have the raw material necessary and
subassemblies to complete it. When the PRD’s are consumed, the inventory is
adjusted.

Line Lead, Team Lead in Training June 2011 to October 2012
Machine Operator- In this position, I discovered my well hidden talent in mechanical
and production processing. I always had excellent efficiency percentages and broke
many records. I decreased production time and labor cost through competent
engineering and creativity. I was responsible for my own quality control and time
management. I found micromanagement to be very useful in my job. As a very self-
sufficient operator, I learned how to pull my own pick tickets, print a BOM, and run
detail availabilities through JDE. I used several Excel worksheets including production
reports, weekly schedules, return tags, and master routing reports.
Team Lead- I trained for a team lead possession where I became proficient in Excel,
Word, Outlook, and JD Edwards programs. I have been trained on how to run a
production department of 15 to 30 people. I am managing up to 4 production lines at
one time.
