Developed the API (application programming interface) for subsystems.

Performed Analysis and Design for the Middleware Project. The system touched many different applications on various platforms (IBM OS/390; NT, AIX, UNIX).

IBM MQ Series (INTEGRATOR, WORKFLOW) was installed and WebSphere server was used for Message Queues. The MQI and JMS interfaces were used for application and data transfer. XML was used to structure data that was then passed to JMS. The monitor was CANDLE. The front end was web based. This was a new system, which involved using JAVA applets, DHTML, Visual Basic, and XML to create web pages that allowed Sprint's Customers to order additional phone services.

Used System Analysis Tools (SDLC, MQ Series WORKFLOW), Data Structures, Data Triggers, Data Objects and Entities to control the Processes.

Used OBDC drivers, MQ Series, (configuring channels), IIS, Apache for the gateway (connectivity) and other scripts to maintain the Middle Tier.

Performed Configuration and Maintenance Support for MQ Series Call Messages (Open Queues and Write Messages) requiring knowledge of Message Broker Concepts.

Used Transaction Monitors and Triggering Functions. Set up test and Object Scripts (MQ Series, MQSI, Business Rules, and Transformation Rules). Built Queue Managers and Queues, and established channels between servers. Performed connectivity and routing using JSP Servlets, and the MQSI Integrator.
