providing support

and advisory services in the evaluation of alternatives for outsourcing Asset Management

operations

and technology to a third party provider. Coordinating a global team in the evaluation

various

outsourcing vendors using multi-dimensional criteria including, financial factors, deal

attributes,

technology platform strengths, vendor track record, and opportunities for value sharing.

This deal,

when announced, will be one of the largest operations outsourcing transactions in the

financial

services industry.

Led the development of a Systems Development Life Cycle (SLDC) framework for an IT

department

of 1700 managers and developers. Designed a seven stage framework for performing systems

project initiation, requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and continuous

improvement.

The SDLC process supported multiple project type definitions based on defined criteria in

order to

accommodate projects of different duration, cost, complexity, and risk. Also designed and

deployed

an web-based artifact repository to facilitate the development of the SDLC framework and

the

deployment to end users to assist in project management. Planned and supervised the

program for the rollout of the SDLC project.

Lead technical architect responsible for designing an integrated systems architecture for

process automation of the consumer credit products. The architecture incorporated legacy

IMS-

the company s new data warehousing initiative. The project charter defined key

Senior Manager, Andersen, LLP June 1992June 2002

Defined a data management governance model for a quasi-governmental international

financing

corporation to assist them in managing very complex information and analysis

requirements.

Analyzed the organizations existing IS governance organizations and developed

recommendations for

transitioning the existing groups into an integrated Data Management Council empowered to

make

information planning decisions across the company.

Designed a web-based sales and distribution applications architecture for a national

insurance and

financial services company to provide over 4,000 mobile field agents with access to

corporate

marketing and sales information. Incorporated various components into the architecture

Participated in a corporate cost take-out project for a large national insurance company
