Babcock and Wilcox Company 2006-Present General Manager-Project Engineer-Operations

Provide direction and strategy for policy development and implementation for BWC`s sole commercial renewable energy project in the US. Accountabilities include both administration of the existing facility consisting of two units and, the design/build phases of three new units being added to the existing facility footprint. Span of control met through eight senior managers and in excess of 200 technical/skilled crafts staff, financial staff, human resources staff, engineering staff-both company and contract engineers. Direct contractual activities and relations between union and non-union employee groups. Accountable for full -p&l- as well as project deliverables on the new construction side. Very -hands-on- style of leadership and management.

Adjunct Instructor-Electrical & Mechanical Technology

Lead instructor for Process Controls in the Electrical Power Technology Program. Also instructor for heat transfer and fluid flow and introduction to power plant technologies courses. Developed curriculum specific to these course areas as well as integrating mathematics into the curriculum. Participated in US Department of Education program development for integration of mathematical concepts alongside science and technology concepts in real time fashion as part of an educational research and development project with a consortium of 5 other major university learning centers in the US.
