My career was primarily with Verizon International where I spent 27 years prior to my retirement. My career began in customer service and eventually migrated to outside field work. I was a technician for 12 years specializing in high speed data and sub rate digital closed point to point circuits.I was then promoted to a Field Manager where for the last 10 years of my career. I managed a group of 26 technicians in Central Pennsylvania. We were acknowledged by senior management more then once on our outstanding customer service and professionalism. I was able to take a team that was known as being unproductive and militant and turn them into a cohesive working unit that carried out the Verizon creed.
