EXPERIENCE Undergraduate Research Assistant Summer
2012-present
. Researched over the optimization of angular asymmetry
in colliders for spin identification of resonant
boson produced through Drell-Yan.
. Specially looked at the polar and azimuthal angular
asymmetry in PDFs and proposed optimal weight
function that could be used to maximize the asymmetry
for spin identification.
. Extended the research over the Lorentz invariant
frame using the rapidity formulation for the
consistency of the proposed optimal weight.
. Research work was also presented by S Dalley (Mentor)
at Light Cone Conference 2012 Cracow Poland and paper
submitted for conference proceeding as a second
author.
American Physical Society
Texas Section Conference, Texas Tech Lubbock, TX Fall
2012
Presented orally at APS Texas conference under
high energy physics section about research
done over the summer and the Fall
2012. The talk was entitled optimizing angular
asymmetry in colliders and full abstract can be
obtained through the APS website.
Student Learning Center, North Lake College, TX
Tutor Spring 2009-
Summer 2010
. Helped students understand, and if needed solve
problems in Physics, General and Organic Chemistry.
