Functional and Technical Consultant: Working on enhancements in an already

implemented Demantra application. The enhancements cover review some areas

and make changes as required. It's an Oracle Demantra 7.3.0 implementation

Functional: Implemented Demand Management for a world-wide Communication

Sales & Operations modules. Responsibilities include requirements

gathering, business process and functional design, developing integration

successful Go live. This was an Oracle Demantra 7.2 Implementation on

Functional/Technical Lead: Worked on upgrading the system to Demantra

7.2.0.2. Lead the upgrade project and addressed/resolved all issues during

Technical Colsultant: Was responsible in performance tuning. This was

Oracle Demantra 7.2 Implementation on Oracle 10g and Unix.

Client - 20th Century Fox - 08/2007 to 04/2008

Technical Lead: Designed and implemented a unique solution for Category

Management for a leading Film Studio. Responsibilities include requirements

gathering, business process and technical design, developing integration

specifications, data modeling, development, end user training and user

acceptance testing. Performance Tuning was the most critical area in this

project and was handled successfully to meet the Client's expectation. This

was Oracle Demantra 7.1.1 Implementation on Oracle 10g.

Functional and Technical Lead: Responsible for production support,

troubleshooting, enhancement of Demantra DM/and PTP solution, analysis,

design and development based on the requirements gathered from business

users. Oracle Demantra 6.2.6 Implementation on Unix.

Client - Korbel - 04/2006 to 10/2006

Technical lead: Responsible for application installation, database creation

and maintenance, integration design, model configuration, performance

tuning (application level and DB level) and workflow setup. Developed SQL

procedures to implement custom client calculations. Configured forecast

accuracy measurements within the application. Provided post production

support. This was Demantra 7.1 Implementation on SQL Server 2005.

Client - City of Pasadena - 04/2002 to 03/2006

Support and development:

Payroll/HR system- was responsible in database (Oracle8i/9i), report

(Report6i) development and support in City of Pasadena. Personality2000 is

the application, which covers different areas like Payroll, HR, Benefits,

Budget and Transportation. Working as the only consultant to support all

these applications to provide with high level of customer satisfaction. Is

involved with new report development as well as enhancement using Report6i.

Performance tuning is performed in different areas using Explain plan. Used

SQL Navigator4.0, SQL*PLUS as a tool to write procedures, functions,

triggers using PL/SQL. Also, is involved in giving training to the other

developers as well as solving their problems.

Automated Timecard system- Was responsible in database (SQL Server),

report (Crystal Reports 10 and Crystal Enterprise 10) development and

support.

Client - SBC Directory Operations - Interactive Media. - 01/2000 to

03/2002

Production Support - Was responsible to solve the site issues, which

are reported by SBC customers and users. The site issues are mostly related

with Oracle 8i, Java, JHTML. Besides solving site issues, takes care of

problems associated with code-release, is responsible in bug fixing with

SBC's Order Entry Tool and Build Tool( Developer 2000 Forms5.0, Reports3.0)

- used by Customer Service and Order Entry department.

Was also responsible in development of new Web-based applications.

SBCDO has one of the best YellowPages in the world. It has some unique

features. The system is based on Dynamo Application Server. The scope of

work covers maintenance and development by back-end programming in Oracle8i

database and Java 1.2.2, PL/SQL languages. Was also responsible for

database maintenance and administration. Was responsible for handling the

site issues, which are reported by different customers.

Release Engineering - Was responsible to develop a Build Release

application using Java and JHTML with version control using Star Team 4.0.

Headings - Was responsible in analysis, design and development of

Universal Heading Code mapping. Headings, received from different sources,

consolidate into SBCI virtual headings. The Advertisers can buy a listing

in any region in any Heading. So, when a type search is performed in a

particular directory or city or zip code, the Advertisers (along with the

free listings) will show up. The purpose of this mapping is to increase the

number of Advertisers, which will result in more revenue. Used Oracle8i and

PL/SQL.

WhitePages - Was involved in WhitePages development. One of the main

responsibilities was to manage more than 90 million transactional data. The

work-area covered database development and maintenance. Was responsible for

performance tuning, which was directly related to SBC's site performance. A

powerful feature of Dynamo - Relational View Manager was used to interact

between the Java Classes and the Oracle database.

YellowPages - Was responsible to include the Geocoding of addresses to

get the exact location in the map for Driving Directions. Worked in the

integration of Telco Data with different data sources like Ameritech and

South Western Bell. Implemented business rules for "hour text" for

different customers and Merchant Id generation. Also used shell scripts to

run the batch jobs.

Personalization - Was responsible to implement Personalization Server

with the current functionalities to increase site traffic. The module

included User Registration, Address Book, and Notepad Maintenance. For this

project Dynamo Personalization Server 4.5.1 along with Oracle 8i were used.

QA/QC - Was responsible to test and finalize different projects.

Axiom Technologies International - 09/1999 to 12/1999

Working as a Database administrator and system developer on a Catalyst

Testing application. The client is in need to uniform and standardize the

data input procedures, which can keep track of the same readings in a

uniform way. Is responsible to study, design the database and user

interface along with graphs using Access 97.

Simultaneously involved in developing a Timesheet Management system, using

Java Servlet programs with Oracle database. Used Crystal reports for

reporting.

Techna International Corporation, November 98 to August 99

06/1999 to 08/1999 Worked as a Database Administrator on a project

named Recruiters Exchange (REX). Contract Programmers' Exchange deals with

the requirements raised by the buyers. REX maintains a Dynamic Database

created by generic process. Using Designer/2000 release 2.1 the Database

was transformed in Oracle 8.0 from ERD and DFD. Had a leading role in

creating and maintaining the full database, managing the users. Was

responsible to maintain regular back-up also.

Client - Nomura Research Institute Europe LTD. (London) - 01/1999 to

02/1999

Worked as a System Developer on Raffles Business System. Was engaged in

developing current functionality, related with security trading. Was

responsible to provide some changes in already developed system in Oracle

8.0 with Developer 2000 Release 2 as front-end.

Client - California State University, Northridge Campus - 10/1998 to

12/1998

Worked as a system developer on Student Information Management System. Used

Developer/2000 Forms 4.5, PL/SQL for developing the reports and Library

extract files. The Creation of Grade Roaster had a challenging feature of

"Bubble Allocation", implemented with the help of PL/SQL.

Client - GEC Alsthom - 01/1998 to 10/1998

Supply Chain Management System:

Worked as a Business/System Analyst, DBA and developer. This system was

responsible to take care of the key areas like sales, order, promotions and

market research information across different branches and regions to

corporate office. I was responsible to analyze users' specification and

design/integrate the system to serve the purposes efficiently. Was

responsible for developing DFD with Designer/2000, loading data using SQL*

Loader, creating Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions using PL/SQL. And

was also responsible to create user interfaces for maintenance of data

using Developer/2000. High level of performance tuning needed to be done

because of high Volume of data.

Production Planning System:

The System was part of the Database Oriented Real Time Enterprise Wise

Automatic Management System for the Engineering Industry. This part

included I) Plan Process and II) Production Schedule. This System was

involved with the complete flow from Research and Development to Dispatch

of complete items.

Sales Monitoring and Inventory Control System:

This generalized integrated system encompassed all facets of the production

process, from the order booking stage through work order generation. The

status could be available until the final stage i.e. dispatch and invoices.

The system was developed with the help of Developer/2000 using Oracle 7.3

as back-end.

Shares Accounting System (SAS):

Involved in implementing this SAS package so that the company would be able

to generate all the various types of transactions affecting the share

holders' balance, location, tax status, protection, share movements,

distribution etc. and update the share holders' information. The system

generated decision support reports needed during executive meetings.

Client - Eveready Industries LTD - 08/1996 to 12/1997

Worked as System Developer on Sales and Finished Goods Consolidation System

using APT Workbench and Data Workbench, SYBASE System 10.0, bcp utility,

DB-library with C host C was used.

Artintel Systems Laboratories Ltd. January 95 to July 96

Client - Worthington Pump LTD - 01/1995 to 07/1996

Worked as a system developer on project named Production Planning and

Control System. The company was in real need of Standard Planning and

Control of their Production Procedures, so that they could get the optimum

control on their product quality and dispatch values as per ISO 9001. In

the system the modules from R&D to Dispatch were incorporated. On the

server side, various stored procedures and database triggers were written

in Sybase System 10.0.
