A motivated, adaptable and responsible Production Shift Supervisor, graduated from

Alexandria University, with BSC majoring Chemistry, with total 11 years experiences

in oil, gas and petrochemicals field, included pre-commissioning, commissioning and

initial start up activities.

Being with very good communication skills; I could work well either leading or being

part of a team .As a leader, I always lead by example and possess outstanding

I am seeking for a challenging career in the capacity of Senior Staff, and looking

for a position in dynamic environment, which would help me in the pursuit of a career

in Oil and Gas industry and provide me with technical skills to continuously

improving my performance and add more value to organization's accomplishment. Through

this I have some short term and long term career goals in my life. In short term

goals, I want to get a challenging job international organization according to my

idea and my skills, which helps me to learn and to grow professionally. In long term

I spend about 11 years in oil, gas and petrochemical sector, doing all sorts of odd

jobs within operation team, in both junior and senior staff level including

pre-commissioning, commissioning, initial start up, abnormal start up, emergency and

planned shutdown. For that reason I believe I know this business from the ground up,

the same applies to practical knowledge and skills.

During my career, I become more familiar with decisions making, learning how to make

timely, well-considered decisions, which enable me to lead various teams to

well-deserved success.

For the achivement motivation and goal orienttion, I have high learing goal

Career Advancement

March 2005- Current Egyptian Liquefied Natural Gases (Egyptian LNG),

Production Shift supervisor

I joined Egyptian LNG, as DCS lead operator, then promoted to Shift

Supervisor, taking the Supervision roles of the plant operations for

producing LNG, using Cascade type of refrigerant technology, Conoco-

Phillips technology.

. I lead a very busy team, sometimes under pressure, to meet the production

requirements necessary in terms of timing, quality and quantity.

. I am responsible for utilizing man power and other resources to achieve

daily production target in accordance with company's

regulation/procedures

. As a team leader, I am responsible for managing staff performance

in daily basis by applying effective performance management system.

. Responsible for communication with contractor personal seeking work

permit, and with upstream operation personal for ordering gas supply

needed to maximize LNG production within ELNG capacity

. Establish and maintain " QHSE" behaviour and culture within ELNG, with

respect to its own procedures and standards

. In case of emergency cases, act as on scene commander, which lead

emergency response team, and communicate with emergency management

team to evaluate and identify the emergency tier

Commissioning and initial start up for both trains

Conducting OTS ( operating training simulator) FAT (Factory Acceptance

test) with Bechtel CO. in Houston, USA

Conducting both SAT ( Site Acceptance test) for OTS and APC( Advanced

process control) with Bechtel CO

One of De-Bottle necking team, who involved with (Atlantic LNG) in

Trended &Tobago in optimization studies

Involved in 3 major shut down and 4 module string shut down

activities in the role of " Shut down Shift manger"

Involved with operation-optimization team in Re-HAZOP and Re-SIL

studies for operating unites

One of PTW(permit to work system) committee, who develop Electronic

PTW in Egyptian LNG

October 2001- March 2005 Sidi Kerir For Petrochemicals CO (SIDPEC), DCS

Supervisor (Ethylene Plant)

I used to work in SIDPE, as DCS supervisor, used Honeywell control

system, to manoeuvring operating conditions for Ethylene production by

thermal cracking technology licensed by ABB Lammus

. Fully operation, supervision and analyzing performance of Ethylene plant

unites in both hot/cold sections

. Take supervision roles on DCS panel, in particular during times the plant

upset

. Ensure all operations wit in equipments design limit and safe

guards are maintained all the time

. Ensure that proper operations guideline and procedures are followed

through daily activities by subordinates

Career achievements with SIDPE

> Commissioning activities and Initial start up for LPG Unit under

supervision of (TOYO Corporation).

> Assist on the development and evaluation of unit plant performs, like

studying fouling characters of CGC, plant optimization and plant

thermal efficiency.

Languages English (fluent) (IELTS / local TOEFL) / Arabic (Mother tongue)

Computer Skills. Handling various types of software including most of

office tools, where I am Professional in using Microsoft Office XP (Word,

Excel, Power Point, and Outlook & Outlook Express).

Using Drawing-Aid programs. Professional in Visio usage. Training in using

Hysys-3.1
