I would like to take the time to introduce myself to you. Thank you for
considering me as a potential employee. I am excited and energized for
the possibilities of being an employee of your exceptional company. With
an outstanding company as yours, you definitely meet many qualified
applicants everyday. Choosing the right employee to help expand your
company to new heights can be a strenuous task in itself.
As a child I understood how the market worked. I recognized what was
overpriced and what was underpriced. Unfortunately my gifts and talents
were not fully nurtured as a child. Now as an adult it is my responsibility to
grow financially and mentally.
In October of 2007 I noticed the market heading down. I mentioned to my
401(k) representative that I needed to protect my retirement. He blew me
off and the market crashed in 2008. I took my money out of my 401(k) and
proceeded to invest myself. My portfolio grew by 105% in three months.
I called bottom that very day in April 2009. I also invested in silver when it
was six dollars an ounce. I also purchased currencies that I am still holding
to this day. My love for the market grew as I immersed myself in all types
of books pertaining to the stock market.
I also called GM two days before Warren Buffett announced he was
buying. I am currently invested in Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), which I
purchased at its 52-week low. I was long on Supervalu INC (SVU) before
they announced the sale of five retail grocery banners to Cerberus. I am
currently long on (ALU)(GRPN) and oil. I'm currently short on the dollar
and cotton.
My love for the market continues to grow. I am looking for a place to start
out on the bottom level. A company that I can study for the Series exams
with. I'm a person that loves a challenge. If you do not challenge yourself
you'll never grow as an individual. Goals drive me! If given the chance to
work for your company I not only will vigorously meet your goals, I will go
above and beyond them. I am confident you will appreciate the talent and
skills I have to offer you.
