(1998 -1999) USPA & IRA – Sold plans for long range financial planning to
military families. Held the accounts for over 60 Client families with investments
totaling over $2.5 million in investments and $3.9 million in insurance
(1976 – 1998) U. S. Air Force – Relevant experience:
Training Squadron Operations Officer. Managed a $50 million Air Force
training program. I supervised 400 students and 70 instructors and staff. I
created, delivered and managed curriculum, training resources, and training
development. Monitored student progress. Increased student training efficiency
by 50%. Developed and taught leadership and supervision class.
Recruiting Commander. Developed a sales marketing project to sell the
Air Force in Wisconsin and Illinois. Supervised recruiting operations and staff of
100 military and civilian employees. Took our program from the bottom to one of
the top in the nation.
Project Manager. Planned and executed 2 major international operations
with over 200 people each. Required extensive and intense multi-tasking. Result
– mission success for an important national mission.
Quality Officer. Wrote the first Quality Improvement curriculum program
for the 1500 Air Force people assigned to the 552 Air Control Wing Operations
Group. My successful training project taught the importance of metrics to
improve operations. I sold the concept to tough, skeptical warriors. Result:
improved efficiency.

1991 World Championship of Public Speaking Competed against a field of
more than 5,700 competitors to win the title. Accomplished and longtime
member of Toastmasters International. Presented hundreds of speeches to
audiences of all sizes.

almost every state. I have presented to crowds of thousands and to intimate
audiences of fewer than five.
