PLANT CONTROLLER (330 EMPLOYEES) 2005-PRESENT

Spearhead the financial and IT operations of a $40,000,000 facility that supports the automotive industry. Manage and

ensure accurate financial closing and analysis reporting. Monitor business growth through profitability analysis, as well as

conduct regular quote reviews and approvals. Facilitate cost control initiatives by providing monthly talk to employees on

key controllable spending variances. Provide assistance in running the plant, production schedules, layoffs, and hiring.

Negotiate and coordinate contract (UAW). Administer GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets and inventory functions. Manage

and ensure efficient execution of capital projects and provide IRR and payback analysis as required. Guarantee SOX

compliance.

Key Accomplishments:

Achieved and improved financial integrity. Generated savings of approximately $50,000 per year by terminating

full external and internal audits.

Eliminated product with low profitability, by re-costing all products through a three plant burden study

powdered metal parts manufacturer.

Strategically established intercompany sales / profit guidelines between plants
