Brewing Department Training Manager 2000 - 2008

Managed every aspect of training and development of 200 full time and weekend hourly

employees and 35 salaried Brewing and Maintenance department employees

Responsible for compliance to OSHA required safety training, development and delivery of process

specific training, technical training, OJT and managerial skills training

Developed and managed a training labor budget of $250,000 and professional developmental

budget of approximately $80,000

Pioneered development and delivery of non-traditional decision making and production scheduling

training for hourly union employees

Managed a sophisticated SOP system for Brewing and Maintenance Department. Extensive

experience writing, approving, and communicating SOP changes. Developed numerous SOP writers

and contributors

Developed control system technical training (Siemens) for operators and maintenance technicians

during a $200MM modernization project completed in 2000

Senior level manager reporting directly to Brewmaster of 8MM Bbl Brewery

Responsible for budgeting, costs, safety, production, scheduling and union contract compliance for

the entire Brewing Department

Led Albany Brewery to benchmark performance in safety, production and conversion costs within

10 brewery system

Directed the reorganization and streamlining of the entire salaried and hourly workforces

Facilitated the reorganization of the Brewing Maintenance department

Managed a material and WIP budget of $35MM, and labor budget of $3.75MM

Responsible for training and development of approximately 15 managers and supervisors, and 40

In charge of Filtration and Production scheduling of approximately ten different brands in support

of state of the art high speed packaging operation
