Project: DellStar Advisor Integration .Net Developer

Dell's DellStar project provides price and marketing details of all Dell products. Advisor tool of this project

advises Dell's business customers for configuring and creating satisfactory solutions from Dell products based

on their business requirements. The Advisor tool is built on .Net Framework 2.0.

Responsibilities:

Designed and implemented applications with interactions between various product data and e-

commerce systems to generate valid quotes

Worked on Flex Builder 3 to integrate the products with the Advisor Framework and DellStar using Visual

Studio 2008

Tested, debugged and fixed Advisor tool code issues in Visual Studio 2008

Made Advisor tool code changes in .Net Framework 3.5 with ASP.Net 3.5, WCF, WPF and C# and participated

in team code reviews

IPA is an insurance company having agents all over US. This project was to develop their website so that the

current agents can access the company’s updates online. Also new agents can enroll online through the website

and pay fees through Paypal. AJAX was used on forms that were to be filled by the agent’s information.

Responsibilities:

Developed a website in ASP.NET2.0 using Visual Studio 2005

• The codebehind was written in C# for the web pages

Used WebForms and wrote Stored Procedures to collect and update data from and to the Database tables

using SQL Server 2000

Worked with CSS for designing the site

Used ADO.NET, DataReader and DataAdapter to read data directly from the tables

Used AJAX tools like ScriptManager and UpdatePanel for Agent Enrollment Forms

Worked with SMTP protocol and MailMessage object of .NET 2.0 for sending mails

requirements.

• Involved in writing components which access the database using ADO.NET

Project: Hotel Management

This project was made in C using linklist, structure and file I/O. The main features added in the project were of

reservation, booking, cancellation of rooms and additional facilities like restaurant, theater and swimming pool.

Responsibilities:

Created structure for each customer and stored their information as structure objects

Stored customer details in file with Customer ID

Used the Customer ID to retrieve the object containing all the customer information

Interface was done in C graphics
