My main task at UBS was coordinating the transfer of specific business
processes from external teams into a centralized department Included in
the role were the following deliverables:
. Insure a complete inventory of processes exists.
. Insure proper documentation is created - including Standard
Operating Procedures and process flow charts.
. Chair regular calls with global participants
. Provide a weekly update to senior stakeholders
I developed process maps utilizing Microsoft Visio and documentation
for reconciliation processes to be integrated into the Global
Reconciliation Utility. I also assisted in developing a time capturing
tool in excel using basic macro functions for measuring process times.
My worked helped achieve the following:
. 25% FTE reduction in all reconciliations transitioning into the
Utility
. 15% FTE reduction in all reconciliations currently in the
Utility

As business analyst I managed and streamlined the development of
financial and budget (Actual vs. Budget) reports for executive review. I
also developed and managed the sales database, and analyzed and
reconciled actual expenditures. Furthermore, I analyzed and reconciled
sales data for month end reporting, assisted in monthly and quarterly
financial closes, and I managed the sale of various office assets to
increase liquidity, and performed inventory audits. My duties required
daily utilization of Microsoft Query, Excel, and Word.

Senior Service Engineer

As Senior Service Engineer I managed incoming service calls and
service documentation for surgical microscopes and video accessories. On
a daily basis I communicated with hospital staff (Surgeons, Nurses, and
Biomeds) troubleshooting technical issues with state of the art surgical
equipment. I utilized SAP for inventory management, customer
information inquiry, and to set up customer orders.
I also trained Clinical Engineers and Field Service Engineers on
equipment operation, maintenance, and repair, coordinated the
installation of ceiling mounted surgical scopes in operating rooms, and
liaised with 3rd party manufactures on OEM service and repair. My
