Senior Software Analyst 4
. Assisting the National Vaccine Program replacement application from a
mainframe platform using C#.Net and T_SQL 2005 Server. I have
completed the load conversion process the will take the FoxPro data
from the main frame and port it each night into the SQL server. I am
currently building windows forms, ADO objects and SQL store procedures
according to the previous team requirements. I've added input that
might improve their design, such as object binding, AJAX and Web
Services.
. I am finished working on the NCHM eHealth Marketing time at CDC and
completed an C# interface that contains objects and presenters that
automatically collect unique CDC web site analytical metrics for CDC
sites such as YouTube, Flicker, Face Book, and MySpace using the API
and SDK provided in open source.
. Converted the 122Cities SSPU/NCIRD 1.1 web site which includes 10
projects to a 3.5 framework Web Application by fixing the framework
namespaces changes, syntax upgrades and deployed it to a new
development platform in 2 days.
. Designed and built a web project for the MEEDS Division (Malaria Early
Epidemic Detection and Response System) of the PIM (President's
Initiative on Malaria). This project included a Dashboard web page,
reports dynamically generated from the Google maps infoWindow links
and SQL Reports and Charts. Tools used in this project were the Google
API as JavaScript objects & SQL Reporting, VB.Net and T-SQL stored
procedures. The complete project was designed and deployed in 5 weeks.
. Helped develop the Mobile Data Collection project for the IRAD
(Integrated Research and Demonstration) lab for NG-Atlanta. This
project was a proof of concept for the Northrop Grumman Senior Staff
and Marketing Departments. Also built Google Earth tours for the
Global Public Health and IRAD initiatives and converted them to video
formats for public displays. Maintained and scheduled Magic Info Pro
servers for the lobby displays in all NGC buildings in North Atlanta.
. Web Developer & System Programmer for the Laboratory Response Network
(LRN). Built a Google API Maps object for LRN Website. Introduced AJAX
2.0 controls to aid in the increase scalability and performance. Built
over 20 SQL Reports and in process of training other developers on SQL
Server Reporting. Assist in fixing final bugs before going to full
production.
. Programmer & Developer for the OMS Surveillance Project. In process of
converting skills from VB.Net to C# and building OMS objects using the
CSLA Framework 2.5 in an agile iteration process. CSLA .NET enables us
to create an object-oriented business layer that abstracts and
encapsulates our business logic and data in OMS and because it is open
source it fits perfectly into the CDC Free and open-source software
(FOSS) requirement.
. Building a formatting CSLA object that will enable the user interface
to correct for presentation layer data inconsistencies such as email,
address, name and phone numbers.
Researching the presentation layer architecture so the future OMS will be
accessible on multiple user interfaces such as Windows, Web, and Mobile

. Senior Software Engineer
I was a programmer and developer in all phases of the Systems
Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Developed and deployed applications
using the latest Visual Studio .Net and MS SQL 2005 development tools.
Experienced in leadership, design, development, and detailed
documentation throughout all project phases, primarily using MSF
processes with exposure to Agile Development practices.
. Designed and developed the Organization Inspection Program for the US
Army Reserve Command. This application utilizes the .Net Framework 2.0
and was written with the Visual Studio VB.Net 2005 enterprise edition.
The OIP application utilizes the newest "Click-Once" deployment and
redistribution technologies and is comprised of many of the newest
framework controls. It has a Microsoft SQL 2005 database which is
integrated through the Visual Studio IDE. The project also includes
the use of facades, interfaces and complex data access and business
rule classes. The OIP was designed with the methodology and best
practices of Microsoft Patterns and Practices
.
. Led development team and implemented 36 worldwide installations of web-
based client/server software with Windows NT/2000 using MS Transaction
Server for pooling, DCOM for transaction control and SQL Server 7.0 as
the database. I utilized object-oriented programming with Java, HTML,
ASP and ActiveX controls.
. Transformed U.S. Army Reserve Training Mission, Supply, School and
Performance legacy applications into user-friendly Windows Internet
environment written in VB & ASP.Net and SQL 2000 Database backend.
. Developed, operated and administered company wide web site (25,000
page views per week) within HTML, JavaScript, VB.NET, ASP.NET, T-SQL
and Microsoft InterDev environment
. Led training initiatives for new 3-tier client/server application,
Focused team on essential planning, implementation and operational
task automation, reducing IT support learning time by 75%.
. Designed complex command script (MSI) to reload 40,000 workstations
with new release software, which cut 250 hours in administrators'
resources and enabled 100% user uptime during release.
. We established new workflow processes and project management tools
that enabled programmers to improve accuracy and delivery by 75%,
which significantly enhanced productivity of Quality Assurance teams.
