Honda of America Manufacturing – Paint Department, Marysville and East Liberty, Ohio

Management of a $21MM account comprised of various electro-coats, primers, basecoats and clear coats.

Responsible for the successful performance of all PPG coatings that meet or exceed customer requirements

in an ISO certified environment. Coordinated all technical projects between Honda and PPG lab for defect

analysis and formula optimizations.

• Initiated monthly supplier meetings between Honda and PPG which enhanced

communication and improved customer satisfaction.

• Received numerous service awards for new product approvals.

• Successfully maintained a zero OSHA recordable injury rate.

• Launched Kansai Paint water borne products in 2005 resulting in a more

Team member responsible for successful launch of water borne and solvent borne topcoats, as well as

assisting the customer with a new facility launch.

• Outperformed a competitor to become the single source topcoat supplier.

• Initiated a daily color audit program with Nissan which resulted in improved color

harmony consistency.

• Implemented a defect tracking procedure which allowed the PPG service team to

identify trends as they developed.

• Implemented a topcoat usage program which improved material forecasting.

coordination, which ensured continuous improvement and thorough communication between PPG and
