NANOFIBER SOLUTIONS, Columbus, OHIO
Chief Executive Officer, 2009 to Present. Start-up company that manufactures non-biological nanofiber layers
for use in cell culture plates. These layers mimic the human cellular architecture and allow cancer researchers a
more effective platform for research.
• Obtained initial funding by from Ohio’s Third Frontier Program and the Deloitte/Fisher Business Plan
competition.
• Negotiated an Intellectual Property agreement with Ohio State for exclusive rights.
• Directed branding and initial marketing efforts for first product.
STRATEGIC THINKING INDUSTRIES, Columbus, OHIO
Chief Executive Officer, 2005 to 2010. Start-up company that provides a variety of products related to the
dissemination and analytics of Labor & Delivery information for Health Care systems. These technologies allow

Advanced Technology Practice, Delivery Operations, Quality Assurance and Risk Management for $75 million
software development company. Managed sales, delivery and profitability of offices in North America, Europe
and Australia. Held responsibility for more than 500 professionals.
• Reviewed and reorganized International Operations; closed selected unprofitable offices; consolidated
staff in regions and restructured remaining offices; led acquisitions in Montreal and Sydney to increase
local presence and drive both offices to profitability.
• Restructured the Health and Human Services Practice which developed and marketed childcare
management software; implemented sales management process, accountability standards and financial
controls, repositioned product and leveraged product development centers which improved sales from
$600,000 (with $400,000 operating loss) to $2 million (with $900,000 gross profit) within six months.
• Opened the U.S. Central Region, including the Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland offices; established
key accounts with Bank One, The Limited, American Electric Power, Nestle and Kroger; increased zero-

• Managed start-up of Internet and Advanced Technology Practice for Claremont; projects included
two of first eight Netscape Merchant Systems installed worldwide; developed company’s first
distributed-object system; G2 Research study listed Claremont as one of three worldwide leaders

• Managed channel relationships with Silicon Graphics and Netscape to provide market with a complete
