I am sending my resume for Concrete Paving Manager position that you have an opening in. I have been in the Construction and Concrete field for over 24 + years and bring experienced and knowledge to this position. I have proven ability to manage distressed construction projects to successful completion.
My experience has been in the concrete road industry but also have experience in forming heavy structural foundations, precast forming, retaining and sound walls and water channels. Experience also includes dirt work, grading. My experience has been in constructing airports, military airfields, roads, bridges, structural forming. Also have experience in box culverts, water canal paving, bridge deck paving. I possess a great deal of knowledge of everything that comes with building such projects. Managetorial requirements are outlined in the bottom paragraph.
And with my experience in management have been in-charge of hiring, firing and training personal in the different aspects of the construction field. As superintendent I have interfaced with general and sub-contractors contracts, the public sector and managers. As for the knowledge of skilled trades and craft that’s where I started as a laborer. Have great success in organizing union and non-union skilled craft and non-skilled personnel as needed on the jobsite.
Responsibilities have been labor and equipment scheduling, ordering and keeping inventory of materials, supplies, reading blue prints, job cost tracking, quantities, daily reports, punch list and daily records. I interfaced with the purchasing and rental equipment agents. I did the project layouts, paving schedule sequences as well. Other skills include doing T&M’s., Force Accounts, Change Orders and estimating spreadsheets. Majority of the projects I have been involved have been very high production projects with top priority on quality and this is where I excel very well.
I am great at multi-tasking, excellent communicator, well organized, oriented and a strong leadership person. I am a great motivator, excellent problem solver, very strong on safety and have excellent interpersonal skills. Very energetic and versatile person,smart person in making wise decisions and working on high end production projects I have excelled in these positions and have brought all my projects on time or ahead of time and they have been very profitable projects. My experience and knowledge assets will help benefit your companies needed in every way.

All of the projects that I have been involved on have been MDOT projects so I am very familiar with DOT procedures and requirements. Also had the opportunity to have worked with the corp. of engineers so I am very familiar with all there specifications and standards as well. I am willing to relocate if need to and travel.
