PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

An experienced professional with 2 and half years of experience in laundry operations, spanning

across renowned hotels, I have been part of two pre-opening teams as well and have helped in

developing laundry layout plans and operating procedures. Competencies include satisfactory

customer service and comprehensive knowledge of various chemicals and equipment used in

daily laundry operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To supervise daily operations of the laundry

Ensure guest laundry is delivered on time

Recommend appropriate cleaning agents and techniques for soiled linen and laundry

given by guests

Guide laundry workers for handling daily laundry requests and special requests

Make sure that the soiled linen is washed, ironed and stacked appropriately

Responsible for ensuring that working stock is always in hand

Train new employees for operating various equipment used in the laundry

To coordinate with Housekeeping Manager for planning for special events

Ensure maintenance cycle is followed as per specifications

Handle guest complaints during the shift

Ensure that the laundry is functioning optimally with utmost efficiency

Allocate duties and responsibilities to employees on shift

Coordinate with Laundry Manager or Housekeeping Manager for performance appraisal

of employees

Assist in preparation of training plans and modules for new employees
