PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Pilot Plant

. Manages pilot-plant unit design, construction and modification

. Oversees daily plant operations including:

> Review of process data

> Collects, Analyzes and Manages analytical data

> Material Balances on unit operations

> Performs DCS data acquisition and generates process control trends

> Analysis of plant upsets and/or anomalies over the 24hr period

. Generates PIDs, Process Flow Diagrams, Instrument Lists and Control

process equipment

. Writes operating procedures and ensures conformance by plant personnel

. Leads plant engineering efforts for Startup, Commissioning, Daily

monitoring of plant operations and Unit Shutdown

recommends/implements corrective action

. Ensures compliance to OSHA Regulations and plant personnel are

properly equipped and trained

. Performs Pre-Startup and Post-Shutdown equipment inspections

. Responsible for daily reports detailing Process Operations and

Equipment Performance

. Publishes and presents Post Run Project Reports summarizing

Objectives, Process Performance, Conclusions and Recommendations

Petrochemical and Refining

. Lead engineer responsible for execution of petrochemical/refining

simulation and DCS Upgrade projects

. Responsible for writing proposals, contract review, PFD and P&ID review,

system design, field installation, technical documentation, product

support and customer training

. Coordinates and performs acceptance tests and site commissioning

. Organizes, prepares and conducts technical training classes

. Responsible for corrective action and resolution of customer

discrepancies

. Prepares product demonstrations, represents company at industry trade

shows and provides technical support to sales staff

. Interfaces with operations personnel and facilities managers working

together to provide solutions to increase performance and production
