EXPERIENCE:
At Anniston Army Depot located in Anniston, AL I have routinely work with little to no direct supervision
following oral and written instructions from Production Operations Managers, Line Supervisors, Branch Chiefs
and Division Chiefs to accomplish work operations. Coordinated and verified the arrival of planned materials
throughout the life of shop floor production schedules. Issued materials from inventory to Production Orders
and process excess materials back to inventory and/or process excess material for redistribution disposition.
Ensured materials/parts are delivered to keep the flow of work progressing through the shop. Maintained
inventory control within the shops for the purpose of maintaining issue and receipt control of material/parts.
Determined equipment and supply requirement and maintained required inventory. Planned and scheduled
work assignments on a day -to- day, week -to- week, month -to- month basis forecasting and anticipating work
and material/parts needed quarterly. Established deadlines, priorities and work sequences, and planned work
based on schedules and priorities established by higher level management. Redirected efforts of co-workers
and resources to meet and accomplish unanticipated work requirements, advising higher level management of
need to revise work scheduling processes and resources. Initiated reviews of and implementation of process
improvements, and cost effective restructuring.
Investigated work related problems and implemented corrective action, provided technical assistance and
direction of co-workers. Determined the impact of material/parts needs caused by or causing changes
in production, work sequences, and plans. Monitored the effectiveness and status of material support
identifying and resolving problems, coordinating with supply resources to expedite supply when necessary.
I have reviewed monthly supply listing and reports, identifying trends, backorders and open unneeded
accounts determining and initiating appropriated action necessary to resolve and circumvent supply issues.
Recommended corrective action to employees and monitoring for completeness and effectiveness. Have
reviewed and validated purchase requests. I have and have assisted co-workers in establishing and
maintaining requisitioning objectives, stockage lists and establishing authorized stockage levels based on
demand criteria, mission essentiality and stand by requirements.
Identified and declared excess parts/materials purifying stocks, and taking actions to reclassify on-hand
materials. Correcting discrepancies and reviewing due-in and due-outs. Maintaining lowest and most cost
effective stock levels to reduce waste and abuses, and lowering excess material on-hand and unnecessary
purchases. I have been tasked with and responsible for maintaining inventory control and repair parts and
supply management on combat and tactical vehicles; automotive vehicles; light duty, medium duty and
heavy-duty trucks including semi-tractor and trailers; construction and earthmoving equipment; locomotives;
material handling; lawn and garden vehicles and equipment; special purpose equipment; emergency response
equipment; fire and rescue vehicles and equipment; chemical handling and transportation vehicles and
equipment and decontamination vehicles and equipment.
I was directly involved with the research, development, and implementation of the non-standard repair parts,
materials and supply direct local purchase and delivery program known as "Quick-Buy" The "Quick -Buy"
program led to me directly working on and largely contributing to the design, development and implementation
of the Electronic Local Purchase System (ELPRS) for the Government Purchase Card Credit Card, IMPAC.
Leading to me being tasked with developing and instituting policies and procedures for the use of and
safeguarding of the Government Purchase Credit Cards.
I along with a Directorate of Information Management (DOIM) system analyst/programmer Camille Randle
designed and developed the Repair Parts Inventory Management System used in the Directorate of Public
Works, Equipment Management Division vehicle repair shop.
I have been licensed and operated several makes and models of electric, gasoline, diesel and propane
powered mobile fork lift trucks with lifting capacity of up to 50,000 pounds as high as 168 inches.
