for resolving customer complaints. Ensuring reduction in Quality trends

through use of appropriate Analytical and Quality tools

. Management of Control of Nonconforming material and records. Generating

process measure metrics & trends on rejection & rework, COPQ. Conduct

RCAs,implement action plans for NC closure .

. Setting priorities, establishing work schedules and monitor the work of

direct reports. Coaching, developing and evaluating staff time to time for

competence mapping.

. Establishing Acceptance criteria for instruments/gages/equipments using

Measurement System Analysis and calibration. Ensuring the calibration

activity is performed as per scheduled plans

. Generate Quality metrics on supplier performance and establish measures

to monitor Quality costs and cost avoidance. Ensuring effective and timely

closure on all Supplier corrective action requests.

. Decision making in the approval & validation new/changed supplier

production process. Scheduling APQP with selected suppliers and manage

process capability studies and Run-at-Rate at suppliers.

. Developing supplier capability in risk assessment using PFMEA. Developing

and implementing SPC inspection points and control plans at the supplier

that will provide STS status.

. Participate in trial production and preparation of PPAP documents for

customer approval.

Design, Engineering and New Product Introduction/Development

. Directing, leading and managing Designing process & concepts, developing

detail & assembly drawings of products to meet product Quality as per

customer specification using AutoCad & GDT .

. Designing and developing all Mechanical systems & parts, Sheet Metal

enclosures, Plastic & Rubber parts, Heat Sinks, Special mounting brackets,

provision for cabling & other electronic parts.

. New Products Development using APQP & PPAP standards and developing

FMEA,CONTROL PLANS,PSW,MSA,SPC and Material testing reports, Mechanical

properties .

. Facilitating New Product Development initiatives with key focus on

QCD(Quality, Cost, Delivery). Coordinating with customers for

understanding their technical requirements and facilitating the internal

Designing process by capturing Voice of Customer using QFD.

. Cost estimation of New Products/Assemblies and generating Bill of

Materials(BOM). Interface and document MOM with suppliers/customers on

engineering specification and Quality requirements decision making in

finalizing and approving the suppliers.

. Preparing & floating of tenders to suppliers, evaluation of offers,

techno-commercial discussion and finalization of contract in view of

project schedule and work within Budgeted cost.
