supply costs and coaching, teaching and mentoring the back
of the house staff. In addition, the kitchen manager
oversees execution of recipes and new menu implementations
while adhering to Health Code Standards. In this position I
was also personally responsible for integrating the
training of new employees into my kitchen for a new store
opening in 2003. I also held this position while the
company transitioned into ServSafe standards. It was my
responsibility to integrate color coding, glove usage,
time/temperature abuse awareness, etc. into a culture of
the restaurant.
