Participate in medicine management initiatives in the Trust.

Participate in the checking of dispensed items if ACT acquired.

Participate in dispensing of in patient and out patient prescriptions.

Participate in the provision of patient counseling to patients and their carers.

Participate in the provision of POD service to wards and community units and to undertake assessments of medication following POD criteria to be used in POD scheme.

Change, feed and bathe residents; attending to other personal and grooming needs such as combing hair, trimming nails, brushing teeth, passing bed-pans and helping residents to the bathroom (transferring to and from commodes).

Assist residents in moving to different facilities as needed.

Use bathing tubs (carousel/serenade), trolleys.

Perform incontinence checks on residents every two hours.

Record data on BM sheet, weight sheet and Nurses Aide flow sheet.

Perform duties such as Labstix as assigned by the nurse.

Attend all mandatory in-services (maintaining 12 hour Federal requirement) and in-services offered on a regular basis.
