Objective: a crane operator position with a growing company

Crane operator / order puller 08, 2008 to 08,2013

I pull orders of steel, aluminum or stainless beams, channels, flat bars,

round bars, angles, plate and order mini mill materials of inches, or

from 1 foot to 60' in length. I check and tag the material and then set it

on a staging area or load it on trucks,clean and pick up trash in our

area to keep it clean and accident free. I load and drive trailar trucks

through-out different bays checking that we are loading the right

material and going by different truck stops. I load the materials

operating an over head crane and or forklift going by the paper work

orders. We also load palets of material, cut to customers prefrence.

We were working by a burning machine that would cut pieces of steel

material. We would clean them with a metal brush or a grinder to leave

them smooth so that they could be ready for the next process. I would

wear protective equipment such as gloves, glasses, apron. To protect

myself from potential hazard. i would have to write down the size &

peice count of the material.

At this company I would only handle pipe material. I would pick up

bundles of pipe, that would range from sizes 3/8 to 42inches in

diameter. I would load & off load single pipes & bundles of pipe from

trucks. I would set boards on trucks according to material size, I would

maintaine a clean & safe enviroment by picking up dibre & trash.They

would give us work orders to fill out with the heat number & lot number.

I am a Certified Forklift & Crane Operator, also I have taken many

safety courses for fire safety, safety operator, & I am also Heart Saver

First Aid CPR (AED) Certified. In all these jobs i always wear my

personal Protective Equipment.
