StrataScale a Subsidiary of Raging Wire Enterprise Solutions (2009- Present)

Sr. Technical Project Manager – Product Development: July 2009 – Present

Responsible for managing the overall project timeline and deliverables for the overall StrataScale program, including both

technical and business deliverables (project team of 30+ technical and business resources). StrataScale offers a web-based

portal (utilizing Java, JSP, AJAX, web services) that allows users to manage ‘bare metal’ and VM servers remotely via a web

portal. Clients purchase the services and Stratascale owns, builds and manages the related hardware (servers, network gear,

storage).

Key Accomplishments:

• Within 7 weeks of joining team, managed team to deliver incremental product release on schedule and as committed.

First time since product was launched in January 2009.

• Worked across organizations to define Work Breakdown Structure, build project deliverables, prioritize product

features, and build detailed project plan that defines work packages for all organizations impacted by launch. Manage

change requests, contingency planning and risk management. For the first time in start-up’s history delivered product

launch on-time, in scope and on budget through timely risk assessments and risk mitigations.

Sun Microsystems (2007 – 2009)

Sr. Program Manager - Business Intelligence: March 2007 – July 2009

Program Manager / Business Alignment Manager participating in the corporate implementation of Oracle 11i. Manage the

overall relationship with key stakeholders in Finance to ensure satisfaction and managing expectations. Partner with Sr.

Members of Finance for requirements and metric architecture definition.

Key Accomplishments:

• Led the design of solution of Sun’s EDI/XML order processing capabilities in Oracle 11i (leveraging Six Sigma

methodology), representing approximately $4B of Sun’s annual revenue.

• Led cross-functional project team to collect and document business requirements across four large legacy data

warehouses for financial reporting on schedule leveraging SCRUM techniques.

• Partner with Finance to develop BI Metrics Architecture for financial metrics.

annual savings of $240k / year by moving 5 small to moderate size applications off-shore and improved response time

from 2-5 days to 1 business day.

software capabilities for pipeline management.

Manager, Information Technology – Customer Advocacy Software Center: April 2000 – January 2003

Partner and collaborate with internal business partners to coordinate, define and implement electronic software and license

distribution solutions and tools to aid customers in the software selection process. Manage large team with budget in excess

of $3 Million annually.

Key Accomplishments:

• Defined long-term strategy for Software Center together with business partners from Manufacturing, Engineering and

Customer Advocacy to create a distributed ftp architecture with staging and production layers. New tools and processes

developed in order to facilitate the automation of software publishing once software released.

• Managed tools and processes of publishing of over 52,000 unique images at any given time to external customers

and manufacturing systems supporting the download of approximately 1.4 million images per month.

• Improved overall client satisfaction scores from 4.6 to 4.93 (on a 5.0 scale) by holding team members accountable

for achieving high individual scores as well as improving overall processes for incoming support cases.

IT Project Manager – Customer Advocacy Software Center: September 1998 – April 2000

IT Project Manager of multiple concurrent projects that build, maintain, and support, the Software Download Center area of

Cisco.com and related ftp infrastructure used by external customers and manufacturing to download software.

Key Accomplishments

• Led cross-functional team in the design and implementation of a centralized automated software license key

generation system leveraging 3rd party software that is integrated with Manufacturing and ERP Systems. Co-author of 3

patents issued by US Patent Office (6,959,289, 7,031,943 and 7,506,244) providing Cisco a competitive advantage by

being one of the first to offer eFulfillment.

• Led team as part cross-functional programs to support new platform upgrades and Year 2000 seamlessly.

• Worked with internal product teams to develop and launch new applications to be used by customers on Cisco’s external

web site to ensure time to market.

• Handled the management of day-to-day activities associated with the publishing and removal of software releases as

predicated by product management teams as well as security escalations.
