I have obtained a degree with a concentration in Marketing and a Business
Management Minor, in which I have developed a basic understanding of
marketing principals and learned the importance of the fundamental aspects
of business. I maintained a grade point average of over 3.0, all while
completing my degree within less than three years.
EXPERIENCE
Outback Steakhouse, San Bernardino, CA August 2005 to Present
Waitress / Customer Service - As a server at Outback
Steakhouse, I gained experience in customer service and learned the value
of being a good listener. I was expected to maintain a presentable
appearance and meet sales goals in different areas of the menu. I was
presented with the opportunity by management to become trainer because of
my demonstrated ability to make crucial decisions regarding customer's
checks and customer service related issues. Currently I daily conduct
company and product orientations, and calculate and transmit daily sales
reports to management.

2005 to August 2005
Marketing Intern - Pull files, great and check in patients for
surgery, assist in getting new doctors as clients, assist in marketing
efforts, confirmed surgery dates for patients, and answer phones.
SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SAP, HTML, SPSS,
POS Systems, Internet and Email.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Although my experience level within the industry in which I am seeking a
position is minimal, I feel that my ability to learn quickly and work under
pressure makes me the best candidate for the available position. I earned
two degrees all while working almost 35 hours per week. My versatility and
flexibility are what separates me from other recent graduates in this
market, and I know I will be able to fulfill even the most demanding
employer requirements. I am extremely detail oriented, have good
communication and computer skills, always meet challenges head on and
always find a way to effectively complete multiple assignments or tasks.
