Information Management Skills
. Investigate and resolve title policy claims for the largest title
insurer in the United States.
. Supervised the sale/leaseback department of a main distribution
center in the Houston, Texas Metropolitan Area as well as the
acquisition and bond-financing department of the company's eastern
region distribution center located in Twiggs County, Georgia.
. Drafted and negotiated all major transactional documents set for
numerous closing agendas including the disposition of a $30 Million
office complex located in the New York Metropolitan Area and the
closing of Mandarin Oriental House Group of a $150 Million ground-
leasehold interest in the building, which housed an Upper East Side
Landmark, The Mark Hotel.
. Facilitated a $178 Million acquisition by client REIT of fifteen
Starwood health club facilities located in five states along with
$108 Million in mortgage and mezzanine financing, performed the
closing of a $21.9 Million acquisition of the corporate headquarters
of Buffets, Inc., the eight largest restaurant chain in the US, as
well as an international closing of a $5.45 Million acquisition of
property located in Helmond, the Netherlands with $4.53 Million
mortgage financing.
. Closed routine advances made under a $125 million credit agreement
secured by over 250 condominium and cooperative units in the
Manhattan and Brooklyn areas.
Communication Skills
. Attend mediations and manage outside litigation counsel on complex
claims.
. Managed a team of junior associates and temporary attorneys in title,
survey, lease, and general due diligence review of over 500
supermarket properties.
. Handled title and survey clearance while ensuring client compliance
with representations and covenants contained in the acquisition,
mortgage, and senior loan documents during the two-week closing of the
$3 Billion Albertson's Inc. transaction.
. Acted as liason between lenders and borrowers toward the closings of
multi-state commercial mortgage loans in the $7 Million to $12 Million
