Technical Implementation Engineer (TIE). The TIE main role is implementing

McKesson software on client's (hospitals) servers. This position required

strong working knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Java, Permeo, Update Manager,

Linux / UNIX / AIX, SAN, Win7,PCs,Citrix, networking, problem solving and

application support. Responsibility includes performing multiple upgrades

simultaneously in short time frames, providing a supporting role to other

groups - Implementation Consultants, Implementation Analysts, nurses,

medical doctors, DBAs, Portal TIEs, PMs and customers during testing and go-

lives. This position requires remote downloading of files from DVDs and

McKesson internal servers (Filezilla and tcp/ip options), command line

knowledge, shell scripting, DNS and IP troubleshooting, distribution of

software to servers and PCs, building and testing/troubleshooting

applications, working issues before and after turn-over to the different

groups for individual testing of applications and providing 24-hr remote

Openwave Systems, Redwood City, CA

Senior Consultant for Openwave Systems, now Openwave Mobility. I was a

member of the deployment team installing OPWV applications at major

communication carriers - AT&T, Comcast, Charter, Verizon, Sprint, Time-

Warner. Installation of text messaging, VOIP, email, and other add-on

features from these carriers. Remote transfer of files from OPWV internal

servers to customer servers via tcp/ip, Filezilla and DVD/flashdrives.

Installation includes external vendor software: Oracle 10.2.0.2 / 10.2.0.4,

Java, PERL, and Veritas VCS and Solaris and Linux hardware. I had working

knowledge of networking, tcp/ip networking, SANs, Solaris 9 / 10, LAN/WAN,

System Administration, troubleshooting and issue resolution. Travel 50% of

time to customer sites. I wrote the documentation for OPWV to allow the

customer to perform all the steps the deployment team did which allowed the

customer greater control of version upgrades and timelines.

I was the SAN Administrator for HP-XP256 and HP-XP1024 SANs (50T of disks),

(LAN/WAN) associated with the SAN. Veritas Administrator for ATL P3000 Tape

Library for UNIX and NT (Lotus Notes, Windows) backups and recovery.

Responsible for backups, recoveries, hardware installation, software

upgrades, hardware configurations, cabling, vendor installations and

upgrades for all SAN equipment. I was a Senior UNIX System Administrator

responsible for 90+ HP-UX and Sun servers. We were a 24x7x365 Datacenter

operation of world-wide communication to remote servers and I provided

second tier UNIX support. Job functions included: system tuning, user

administration, loading monthly patches, upgrading OS, documentation,

working closely with DBA/SAP Basis for PeopleSoft, Informix, Oracle and SAP

Applications, remote UNIX SysAdm for 6 servers in NJ and 6 servers in

Singapore. Monthly, I performed UNIX SysAdm for Disaster Recovery

techniques and testing. As a Project Manager and SysAdm, I built the IT

portion of CIBA Vision's Singapore Data Center by installing UNIX and VM

hardware and software, networking, ensure remote connectivity, HA

Clustering, troubleshooting and issue resolution of hardware and software,

coordinated vendor work and transitioned the systems online in a 6 week

time period. Also I transitioned the CIBA Visions DC within the
