Systems requirements, architecture and systems engineering.
Management of off shore call center IT staff in Manila and Network Operations Team in India.
Vendor management and selection process for Call Center Technology solutions.
Managed budget for facilities in excess of $2MM
Managed Infrastructure planning and provided capacity projections for growth.
Evaluated key technologies (VoIP etc) for platform evolution. Developed technical architecture solutions for
internal and external customers.
Key accomplishments:
developed strategies for platform monitoring via network management systems (Uptime and Whatsup!Gold),
which included hands on development of Unix scripts to monitor application state of health and alarming.
Built an off shore Network Operation Team in India
Worked close with vendor on specifying CORBA based architecture for new ACD system.
Ensured that the technology deployment and strategies lined up with the key service offerings regarding the
Directory Assistance and Customer Care businesses.
Environment consisted of Solaris based Unix Servers, Oracle database as well as an in memory database and
CORBA communications. Perl was the primary scripting language for monitoring.
