Duties
The construction activities of awarded Civil Contract overseen by the DMRC
involves depots, stations, elevated viaducts, tunneling, associated
structures and all railway system works and my roll and assignments are as
under
* Monitoring and reviewing the Civil Contractor's ( CC's )
compliance to
- DMRC Conditions of Contract on Safety Health and Environment.
- Submission of SHE plan, site specific Environmental Plan by each
contractor.
- Approval by GC of contract specific SHE plan and Environmental Plan.
- Review and comment on Monthly Progress Report (SHE / Environmental)
submitted by
each contractor.
* Safety Walk / Walk-in Environment, SHE Training / Environmental
Training, SHE Audit, SHE Communication / Environmental Communication
of Civil Contract's (CC's) site activities at weekly / monthly /
quarterly intervals
* Prepare a report of the findings and comments including suggestions for

. The Lot C Section of the Baku -Tbilisi - Ceyhan Pipeline Project
comprises the portion from the Alt>nyayla district of Sivas to Adana,
Ceyhan.
. A total of 332 km of pipeline, consisting of 125 km of pipes with a
diameter of 34 inches and 207 km with a diameter of 42 inches, was laid
and 13 valve stations were constructed along this pipeline, within the
scope of the project. The Project received the Mechanical Acceptance
Certificate on 6 September 2005.
. The project was implemented following the highest standards with regard
to work safety, environmental matters and social aspects.
4. Nov'02 to Oct'03 with "The Energy and Resources Institute" (TERI), New
Delhi (India) as Research Associate with Policy Analysis Division in the
group of Water Resources Policy and Management
