servers, as well training on pre-merger HP equipment; servers/blade
servers/ tape libraries, Wells Fargo and Cisco networking equipment, and
U.S. Postal Service equipment. Duties required strong professional
customer service skills.
December 21, 1987 to October 31, 2005: Hewlett-Packard, Bellevue,
Washington. Customer Field Service Engineer primarily for Boeing Company
throughout Puget Sound area. Performed installation, repair, and technical
support on pre-merger Digital/Compaq equipment/Proliant servers, VAX
servers, Alpha servers, robotic tape libraries, as well as Hewlett-Packard
equipment and servers, and LPS 20, LPS40 Laser printers made by Ricoh.
Daily contact with customers required ongoing follow-up on repair issues
and ability to develop professional, trust building relationships, as well
as ability to diffuse customer anxiety and tension due to complex
maintenance requirements. Software knowledge includes Windows, VMS, Unix,
Microsoft Word.

department maintenance and dealership duties as requested. Position
requires daily interface with customers in stressful situations.

Puyallup, Washington. Parts technician, shipping and receiving clerk, and
part-time driver, delivering motorcycles to and from dealership. Strong
