Dear Mr. Krueger,
I recently was on the Homestead High School website, and noticed the Girls
Assistant Vollyball Coach opening. In addition to that opening, I spoke
with Ernie Mallard while coaching against him in a softball game and found
there may also be a softball coach opening in the future. I have a talent
in working with young people, and I want to enrich your athletic department
with it.
My success story has only just begun as a coach, but I am committed to
learning more in every situation. I played volleyball in middle school,
and now I play in summer leagues, I have a lot of knowledge about the
sport, but am ready to learn much more. If employed I would strive to learn
as much as I could over the summer to become excellent. I am willing to
work with the coach this summer or in clinics to learn more. I think
finding a great coach is a lot harder than finding someone with extensive
knowledge in a sport, and I am a great coach, with the drive to learn the
extensive knowledge.
I have a bachelor's degree in Communication, and extensive background
working with young adults. In addition, I have one season of coaching
under my belt, and am looking forward to continuing coaching.
My resume, which is enclosed, contains additional information on my
experience and skills. I would love to have this opportunity and would
love to have an interview with you. I can be reached anytime via my cell
phone, 262-***-****.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to speaking with
you about this exciting opportunity.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth A. Roeming
