Course Registration Portal:

Developed course registration portal (prototype) using C#.NET and .NET 2.0 framework This application offers a

number of features to students that include registering for a course, course catalog search, course availability,

available seats, and schedule of classes, grades lookup, editing personal information, and requesting online

transcripts.

Key Contributions:

Supplemented new tables and views in SQL Server to support newly enhanced features

Automatic Text Summarization:

Developed a text summarization tool using perl that is capable of extracting the most statistically significant

information from an English language news article and collate that extracted information to create a cohesive and

coherent summary of the original document.

Macy’s (prototype) website:

Developed an Macy’s website using ASP.NET and SQL Server. The website had a fully functional shopping cart, search

page and checkout. Customers could securely shop online or track their order history.

Key Contributions:

Enhanced site by adding new features in accordance with the business requirements using ASP.NET and cross-

compliant CSS, HTML.
