As Quality Director I have the overall accountability for Tokico's Quality
Systems in the United States. Over 800 employees at the Berea manufacturing
plant, 40 plus at the Allen Park, MI Sales and Design Center. Some of
Tokico's manufacturing processes include, Machining of Rods, Tubes, Loops,
Calipers and Master Cylinders. Chrome Plating Rods, Painting, and
Caliper Plating. Stamping, Hot Forming, Blow Mold and both Resistance and
Arc Welding. Automated, Simi-Automated and Manual Assembly process are
used. Verification equipment include, Programmable and Manual CMMs, Micro
Scopes with measurement and photo retention software, Optical Comparators,
Surface and hardness tester. Specialist performance testers some within

Quality Staff includes 3 Quality Managers, 9 Quality Engineers, 5

dicrepancies have been cleared, stamp documentation and prepare for history
file index and forward completed traveler to Quality Document Control.
Verify and process, to Cocument Control, daily paper word generated by M/W
Quality. Assist in document review cross-training of technician trainees,
Level I and Level II section personnel. Perform special projects and other
duties as assigned by Turnover Quality Supervisor.

and documenting visual weld inspections, witnessing welder performance
qualification tests, performing periodic audits and subcontractor
