Achievements:
. Responsible of Implementation of the payroll program that collect data of
entering/leaving hour of more than 200 coal miners' workers through
biometric face recognition program to actual payroll system. I reduce 50%
time of payroll process in order to attend and get other
responsibilities.
. First Responsible to hire and control from 0 to 115 maintenance workers
(Technicians, Supervisors, Managers and Coordinators) in order to provide
100% Planned Maintenance services to a 320,000 TPD concentration plant in
3 months.
. Successful planned cost control and 100% of monthly profitability in
Maintenance Contract in a mine and concentration plant.
. Restructuration of a Maintenance Department in order to get substantial
increases in equipment availability and food plant capacity of 60%, also
reduce cost operation in less than one year period.
. Coordination, supervision and administration of project about acrylic
laminates conversion to reinforced polyester laminates getting success in
time cost and at the same time during production process. With an
investment of $156,000 US Dlls, it was achieved duplicating the capacity
of a $9,000,000 US Dlls five year Plant to polyester laminates reinforced
with glass fiber production and its operation versatility.
. Implantation of a project and maintenance cost control system. It was
achieved to keep the maintenance costs below budget during 90% of 1995 and
1996 months with minimum delays and maximum level of historical service in
a plant of plastic laminates reinforced with glass fiber.
. Implementation of preventive maintenance programs in cement mills with
the use of dead time because electrical energy restrictions by peak rate
hours. It was achieved to guarantee reliance and continuity in equipment
operation, diminishing in more than 1'000,000 US Dlls the electrical
energy expense in 1994.
. Development and implementation of the first computed maintenance
administration system, establishing the basis for organization,
programming and control of resources and information in a cement plant. As
a consequence, it was increased substantially equipment operational
efficiency and successful extension of this system in eight more plants.
. Maintenance planning and programming of two cement mills, establishing
operation continuity records without non-programmed mechanical delays in
more than one operation month in one and six months in the other.
. Organization and application of the first system of specific maintenance
works unitary costs in a cement plant, directed to effective budget
negotiation and contractors quotes. The contracts negotiation expenses and
times per specific work were reduced significantly.
. Fulfillment and revision of standard procedures of specific maintenance
works and special implements designing, optimizing reparation times in
cement plant equipment.
. Preparation of used coolers plates of cement furnaces considered as
debris in order to use them in ducts blinds for abrasive material
subjected to accelerated wear. Reparation and change costs were eliminated
totally.
. Defective parts detection in high-efficiency fans of cement furnaces by
means of predictive maintenance practices. When replacing these parts on
time, larger incidents or damages of costly consequences were foreseen.
. Programming and preparation of contracts and repairing to redesign the
silo raw material extraction system, eliminating completely the material
flow problems and contributing to the homogenization of feeding material
to cement furnaces.
. During eight months, I covered satisfactorily the positions of chief in
lubrication and coordinator of planning and programming with seven people
under supervision.
. Promotion and presentation of the first enhancement project implemented
by lubrication department. A group of seven lubrication people subjected
to tedious routines and risky work environment were reactivated and
motivated.
