Experience:

Dental Assistant for Dr. Evelyn Luma D.D.S. December 2013 – present

Virginia Beach. My responsibilities included assisting the doctor

using 4 handed dentistry techniques in restorative and cosmetic

procedures, and oral surgery and preventative dentistry. I was required

to pour and trim models and take alginate impressions for diagnostic

cast and study models, bleaching trays, night guards and stints. I

performed all types of digital x-rays. I performed the monthly

Dental Assistant for Dr. William Cox D.D.S. April 2012 – August 2013

Virginia Beach. My responsibilities included assisting the doctor

using 4 handed dentistry techniques in restorative and cosmetic

procedures, endondontics, oral surgery and preventative dentistry. I

was required to pour and trim models and take alginate impressions for

diagnostic cast and study models, surgical guides, bleaching trays,

night guards and stints. We also took impressions for the Invisalign

orthodontic appliances. I made temporary crowns and bridges. Using the

impressions for diagnostic cast and study models, surgical guides,

designed the Inlay/Onlay partial crowns and/or crowns. I set up,

cleaned and maintained the CEREC Machine and milling unit. I was

trained in the HIPAA laws and had OSHA infection control training. I

answered phones, scheduled and confirmed appointments. I maintained
